Greiner Helps Secure $3 Million for Local Development
July 17, 2026
HARRISBURG – Rep. Keith J. Greiner (R-Upper Leacock) announced $3 million for projects in the Borough of Ephrata and Leacock Township through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).
“These investments will help strengthen our local economy by supporting critical infrastructure and expanding manufacturing in our community,” said Greiner. “I was proud to advocate for these projects because they will create opportunities for future growth, support good-paying jobs and improve services for residents.”
Ephrata received $2 million for its electric division facility project. Work under the grant includes sitework and construction activities associated with the construction of a new building for the electric division. This is a much-needed project that will help have a significant positive impact for all the residents in the borough.
Extrudalum received $1 million for a project that entails the redevelopment and expansion of the Extrudalum manufacturing facility in Leacock Township. RACP funds will be used toward site acquisition, construction of the new facility, purchase of machinery and equipment, and site improvements.
The Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) is a Commonwealth grant program administered by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget that supports the design, acquisition and construction of projects with regional economic, civic, cultural, recreational or historical significance. RACP projects must demonstrate regional impact and require local investment.
